Default Brake disc size

I am trying to find out the correct size of discs on my daughters 2007 s40 2.0 petrol as she thinks she might be needing them done . I have just sourced mine 2012 xc90 from AUTODOC full set mintex front and rear £202 so can’t grumble
( if you download the app they are cheaper 🤔&#129300
Unfortunately I don’t have time to remove the front wheels on her car to check but any guidance welcome hopefully the guys in this section are as knowledgeable as the folks on the xc90 section.
Managed to convert her from a focus to a Volvo and she thinks it’s far superior 😀 well it is a Volvo enough said.
Any help appreciated
Cheers

You need to post in the correct forum for your car to get the correct info.

You could phone your dealer & ask them. They might give you the size, but sometimes they won’t because they know you’re only asking to buy the parts elsewhere.

Volvo’s & other manufacturers use different brake disc sizes. There’s no easy way to tell without removing the wheel & measuring. The other option without removing the wheel is if you use two fairly long pieces of timber at the top & bottom of the disc (through the alloys or holes in the steel wheel), make sure the timbers are level & measure the gap with a tape. Obviously the timber needs to be narrow enough to fit through the gaps in the wheel.

Forgive me, if the OP can't find the wit to have a quick look; use even basic punctuation, or bother to think to place his Q somewhere it might be answered, would you put £50 down to say he'll action your advice?

I offered my advice and its up to him if he follows it. If he doesn’t, its no skin off my nose.
