Default Orestes offset

I quite like the look of the Orestes alloy wheels from a mk2 V70 but the offset is 49 rather than the 43 ph1 V70 alloys usually have, will they fit straight on? Obviously, they will bolt on but what effect will the offset have, I believe it means they will stick in the arch more? I obviously don't want them to look silly or not be able to turn which I know ph2 V70's struggle with.

I've had Pegasus and Nebulas and Thors on mine and think they look great, the extra poke helps at the back too where they look way too far in the arch as standard

There's some Nebulas for sale for £250 nearby but I think they would rub and the ride would be awful, shame as they are in good condition with good tyres. Found only a few pics of Orestes on a ph1 and they look nice, split between them, canisto, comet or canopus but the canisto's I had on my V70 rubbed the arches although that was a TDI with age lowered suspension..

Yeah, the ride is pretty unforgiving on 18s.
17s are a good compromise really.

Anything bigger than 16s will rub slightly, especially on full lock, but C70 lock limiters help.
