Very nice, ITSv40, that's a beauty and a credit to you! I was admiring its rear end in this thread

Hi.
Today I cleaned the roof using Autoglym clean and protect kit. Quite a big job, all in the prep with masking off all paintwork.
Very pleased.....come up a lovely blue colour (I specifically wanted the blue roof option when I was looking for a C70)
Then applied the waterproofer.
Time will tell of course.....but looks great now.
Dave

Sounds excellent work, but we need photos of the finished results

Thanks for swapping photos Ian....Yours is indeed a beautiful vehicle.
I agree entirely though.....these cars have a huge price range in there resale value...from next to nothing up to very good values.
There ΰre many really neglected ones out there. Often advertised as "immaculate"...or "mint" and when you view them....they are not.
I searched for eight months to find mine !
Best wishes
Dave

Finally got round to taking throttle body off to convert it to electric.Being a thick sod the instructions that came with the new bit confuse me so I'll pass it on to a mate to fit that for me.But what a faff about[unless of course I'm also too thick to figure it out]fancy making the wiring plug too big to fit between starter motor and engine block so you also have to shift the starter to actually get the throttle body out of the engine bay.

Track rod ends and tie bars (Stearing rack).Rear brake disks and pads. Rotated wheels. Tracking. Not me specificly cant crawl about under my beloved V70 these days but have a proper mechanic in my mate Bill who does it for me at a fraction of the high street prices. She's good to go for another year.
