Default Long cranking

Hi all,
My V70 d5 P2 seems to take a while to turn over if it has been stood for a while.
I just replaced the battery as old one knackered.
I checked with vida and have fault with cylinder 1 injector. This was replaced before i purchased the car. I physically checked and it appears to be new or refurbished.

I cleared the fault yesterday and will check today to see if it has returned.
My question is, is there any tests within vida or info that will help diagnose an issue with the injector?
It was the first time using vida yesterday and will look for tutorials today.
I am going to do a leak back test today also.

I read the replacement injector needs to be programmed to the ecu, any advice i can check this has been done?

Engine is a little lumpy at low rpm's but it may just be that it's a D5. Not sure what normal would be. It was hesitant slightly before i cleared the fault and seems to pick up better now.

Thanks in advance

Long cranking is a classic sign of low fuel pressure which is often caused by excessive leak-back from a failing injector - so I would suggest the leak back test is a good first step.

It doesn't matter how new it is and you could have 5 perfectly functioning injectors but if just one hasn't been fitted correctly, you will have starting issues.
I've done a YouTube video showing how to use diagnostics to solve starting problems.

You said you used 3mm pipe for the leak back test but is that internal or external dim?
Started getting poor starts last winter but ok over summer. Now we are back into winter again poor starting has returned.

Possible glow plug or glow plug control unit failure? Diesels will start ok without glow plugs in summer, but once it gets so cold they struggle and run rough until warmed up.

Leak back test done. All exactly the same 20ml per minute. I cleared the injector code, all good. Changed 2 glow plugs as they were open circuit.
All working perfect now.
