Hi guys,
I'm up to a Saffron S70R and just stumbled uppon this one

Does anyone knows anything about this particular car?
It looks like a well taken care of...and even "tuned" with Nurburgring sticker :-)

And can you really trust a person that writes an advert where all the text is large font; all caps; bold; underlined and various colours?

And then puts it in the "Wants" sub-forum???

It gives the impression (to me, at least) that they are desperate to sell the car for some reason and hope that dazzling the reader with text like that will make the car sound attractive?

Interesting to see that the (only?) key fob is held together with parcel tape! What other bodges are there?

Don't know why but I thought I would let others kick off the bidding on this one before me.

No reg plate, £2k+ spent v recently, the only thing missing is the likely bull**** story as to why ?

I would be very spectical indeedee. That said she does look in exceptional order and with the clutch recently done, Acidic Davey was this yours ?

Used to belong to a mate of mine.
Very well known car among the performance forums.

Has had an absolute fortune spent on it by a couple of previous owners and is a pretty quick car.

Changed hands a few times over the years, then it somehow ended up in Dana Miah's hands.
Funnily enough, this is the car it all kicked off about when I asked him a question as was interested in buying

Think this is the second owner since then, AcidicDavey on here had it before this guy.

You are indeed the man with da knowledge !

A genuine mota with a small fortune recently spent since acquired from AcidicDavey ( who himself invested a lot of time and money ) which explains why at £4200 it has not met reserve.

Current seller would probs not be getting his investment back.

Beyond me as to why a genuine seller would pixilate the reg plate but it's a funny old world out there

It seems to be attracting bids on ebay.

I will be intrigued/interested to see what it does get at the end.

Don't do that Chris far tooooo many calories for somebody at your stage in life !

Actually I find it quite refreshing that a mota one is very suspicious about turns out to be quite the contrary.

I suspect the current owner ( assuming the invoices are genuine !!!! ) will be looking for £5k

I just found Acidic Daveys sale thread, according to which she sold for £2650, as the Dacia add says " you do the maths " !
