Default 2003 V70 D5 GRINDING SOUND and Slow Starting

After taking my V70 to two different mechanics who cannot or will not diagnose, I am seeking information from those who ACTUALLY have a clue.
One Volvo specialist, refused to even get in the car with me so I could show him what i meant - "I don't need to get in the car," he said arrogantly.

Problem 1:
Grinding sound when accelerating and turning right. This only happens when the transmission in forward gears. It's not overtly loud, more like abnormal change in the tone of the engine, like a noise is transferring from one place to another. I have noticed it a couple of times turning left, but mainly it's when turning right (even slightly).
Volvo 'specialist' says its the tyres rubbing on inside of wheel arch because turning limit worn, well it can't be that because it's happening when only slight turning. (however yes I do see evidence of tyre rub: separate issue).
I'm suspecting this problem is because it's when doing any sort of cornering combined with power, it could have something to do with the differential?
Inspection of the vehicle also revealed badly worn OSF ball joint and 'Engine lower and upper mountings badly worn code 6805 listed.
Are these faults anything to do with the grinding sound?

Problem 2:
Variable starting time.
Noticed it was worse in the hot weather last few days.
Garage suggested try changing key antenna

Current Codes:

CCM-0021 AIR QUALITY SENSOR INTERNAL FAULT
DDM-0025 MIRROR MOTOR SIGNAL MISSING
ECM-6805 BOOST PRESSURE CONTROL FAULTY FLOW
PSM-E003 CONFIGURATION FAULT
CCM-0017 DIRECTION CONTROL, DAMPER SIGNAL TOO LOW

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

I've sorted the grinding noise by replacing the top engine mount.
Was quoted £160 to to this by garage but did it myself in a multi story car park in 20 mins and only spent £40 on the part.
Enjoying learning a bit about my car!

CCM-0021 AIR QUALITY SENSOR INTERNAL FAULT
They all have this, it's the sensor inside the cabin air intake, not worth fixing in my opinion.

DDM-0025 MIRROR MOTOR SIGNAL MISSING
Do the mirrors move OK? Suggest clearing and see if it comes back.

ECM-6805 BOOST PRESSURE CONTROL FAULTY FLOW
This fault is a pain, and can be caused by several things. Any loss of vacuum can cause it. Start by blanking off the feed to the engine mounts. Next likely candidates (in order) are: Flexible rubber turbo input pipe (collapses under load), the turbo governor (on front of engine), and lastly sticking variable turbo vanes. Potentially a leaking intercooler can as well.

PSM-E003 CONFIGURATION FAULT
No experience of this one, someone else may know.

CCM-0017 DIRECTION CONTROL, DAMPER SIGNAL TOO LOW
Or this. See if both come back after clearing, could be old faults.

Very long shot, but my engine started like crap in winter. Recently found my groundstrap between engine and chassis to have come loose (cable came out of CRIMPED part of the mounting-eye!!!). Since then it starts with ease again. And the outside temperature is also 20C higher, so that might also explain the easier starting

I've had a leaking engine mount, a leaking governor, a leaking intercooler (and condensor and evaporator, but those don't cause the 6805) and changed my turbo-inlet-pipe. And I am shortly going to disassemble my turbo to see if that finally solves my slow acceleration (and 6805 warning without limp mode).
So good tips from aland...
