Think/hope the right one is on its way.

Do you lose any gearbox/transfer case oil when it’s changed?

Just that I paid a small fortune to have it changed recently using correct Volvo oil

You can look from GKN catalogue and you'll get cross reference.
I don't think there's a front shaft difference for AWD or FWD cars, only for XC70 because it has higher ground clearance.

I personally have fitted both new front GKN (Spidan and Lφbro) driveshafts for a FWD D5 manual V70 and they had the same GKN stamped boots as Volvo OE.

I only lost few drips of oil so nothing I worried about.
