Default fog lights

guys,

it looks really simple to take out the fog light grills on our s40 s and relpace them with fog lighs as per the se + models but how difficult is the wiring to use the original wiring on the dash board

spoke to a dealer at the begining of the year about doing the same thing. quoted £250 parts and labour so left it. would also be interested to know how easy it is to do yourself.

Default Front Fogs

Be sure you want the fogs...i have a 2002 S40 sport factory fitted with front fogs. After replacing them both due to a "bump", within 6 months they were cracked by stones (glass seems very weak and susseptible to flying stones), and looked awful after that as they discoloured quickly once water started gettiing in. Therefore i removed them and put blanking plates instead. .....see pic below, i think it looks better with out them:
