Think I paid £105 from Rybrook and they fitted it too, was in for something else and saved me the hastle of undoing the strut brace and disposing of the old one.

I've topped mine up now with some de-ionized water, £3.50. I'll check it in a week or so.

£117 from Tayna seems a bit excessive,I recently bought an 096 battery from them for my V70 which was physically larger[it just fits on the battery tray]had more CCA and higher amp hour rating than the battery it replaced and that was under £50.Given that Volvo don't make batteries[simply have Volvo stickers slapped on]I see no point in paying dealer prices unless they are cheaper than elsewhere.

Wow £50 is cheap. When I enter my reg (without checking for correct measurements) it gives one battery:

096 ENDUROLINE AGM STOP START CAR BATTERY 12V 70AH

Which is priced £109.95 + 8.95 postage.

That's for my C30 SE 1.6d 2009

My 9 year old C30 is on what I think maybe the original Volvo battery, so I'll be getting another when it dies.

As an alternative use di-hydrogen monoxide. Available at good pharmacies.
