I thought the bonnet lock was the same on all models from 19996 to 2004. Didn't realise Phase 1 had different ones

May well be the same in that case! Took a gamble with it, there are very few S/V40s to choose from at any scrappers at the moment locally

The Phase2 cupholders were an optional extra. Phase1 will not fit.

Ahh, another part to hunt for once the T4 is done then, they're just really handy, grab 2 drinks from say Mcdonalds and without them it's like ahh right, mine will go between my knees then lol.

Was just about to say, it's a fine art doing the 'McDonalds twist' of turning around to plonk drinks in the cup holders in the back, then turning back just as your food is being handed to you!

Gregg's coffee cups wedge in to the front slidey storage area okay, useful on early shifts..

I very much doubt it ! there are many different part numbers for S/V 40 instrument panels , they seem to change just about every model year .
I have a good spare panel from a V40 1998 with the multi function computer incorporated .

The cupholders on the phase 1 models are completely different to the phase 2 cupholders. You can try to find a centre console with cupholders that will h
Just fit on your phase 2 car
