  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default usb centre console

Hi
Could anyone help me please.
If I plug my phone usb lead into the usb in the centre console it charges my phone but when I plug my usb stick with music files on it and I select usb via the media button nothing happens?
Just says on screen connect usb. Any ideas please?

Have you actually scrolled through the media menus to access the USB ? what are the file types you use, MP3 , wav, flac ?

Try swiping the sensus screen to the right (towards the driver) and select usb from there at the top of the screen, if you have valid music files they should play. If they do, you can't be accessing the usb properly the way you are doing it.

If you have more than one USB socket then try the other one (I can only update maps on a USB from one of my USB sockets, not the other).

My car is a 2013 so I dont think my screen is touch screen?

I click on the media button then select usb. Am I doing something wrong?
The files are MP3
I only have the one usb

One of the things you are doing wrong is posting your question to the wrong forum section and not initially identifying your car model and age.

Hi thanks for letting me know I have been posting on the wrong forum.
I have tried adding my car information so it shows under my username but it still isn't? Could you point me in the right direction please?
Could I also ask how I find the right forum to post to?
As you can tell this is all new to me so any help would be gratefully received.
