Default Rear offside door

When locking the car all locks work apart from the rear offside door.
I lock the car, the door lock clunks.
However the door can be opened.
A short time later, 10 seconds, there is a second clunk and the door is locked.

Any thoughts? 😉

My guess is the main lock is broken but the dead lock part is still working.

I have exactly the same fault on 2010 V70. Lock the car then immediately
press the lock button on the fob 3 or 4 times, then wait for the deadlock click.
Door is then locked(at least that works on mine) Cheers,JDmac

Check the actuator in the lock itself - if it isn't working you'll need to replace the lock as it is impossible to source parts to repair mechanism within the casing - I had the same problem with a P2 lock and eventually replaced the it with a secondhand one.

Thanks for your input folks.
I will keep my eye out for a reasonably priced door lock 👍👍
