Your best bet is ask the man who made them :
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=285498 Theory says it will but i've never owned an OBD-II equipped car thankfully so i can't be sure. I do know that until the early 00s, most Volvos couldn't be read with a generic OBD code reader, it had to be the Volvo unit or a code reader such as this one.
