Default What the heck - cv boot swelling up????

Took my wheel off today to work on my roll bar links and found this...why would the cv boot do this???

Looks fairly normal, possibly when installed they pushed the small diameter axle end in a little to far before clamped. Nothing is swelled up.

To me, that looks strange and I would keep an eye on it before it gets torn

The larger clamp is not fully crushed down so it's a replacement boot

Doesn't look good ! Looks inflated even. I would be thinking of replacing that before it splits and messes up your drive shaft . I see it has a newish looking bar code on the shaft . Have the shafts been replaced recently ? Check what grease was used for the joint.
