I think - if ive got the correct part - it's also an O ring there not a gasket

Mine looks very similar to this! I put it down to the intercooler leaking and the oil getting blown back onto the engine...

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

Not yet, I need to get under the car again and check on the issue.
But I've been in a serious accident and am not allowed to work on cars in the short term.

Also, my car is the non-turbo so it won't be the intercooler, but thanks for the suggestion all the same.

You say that but it also means mine might not be the intercooler causing it...
