Default Gearbox oil leak ?

My auto gearbox seems to have a very slow leak and needs topping up every 5,000 miles ish.

But I cannot find where it's coming from, I know a little oil would have leaked when I topped up the oil around the gearbox dip stick, but I don't think that is the main source.

Checked those connectors where they go into the radiator and no leaks there.

Anywhere else I should check?

firstly are you checking it correctly?

hot gearbox (15 min driving, engine running, cycle through all the gears several times)
check to max hot mark on dipstick

Yes I am using that procedure and even using Vida to make sure the oil is at the correct temperature.

Is the return pipe the lower pipe that goes into the radiator?
If so, on the radiator end there are no signs of leak.
