Got a brand new XC90 a few months back, but are still looking after a simcard, but I'm in doubt how much data is needed on a monthly/yearly basis....

If you have the MY20 XC90, did it not come with a 100GB sim card? Mine did.

It's bought in Denmark, i'll try and dismantle the luggagecompart tonight to have a look.

I've tried to look into the settings on the sensus, doesn't seem to be "online"....

Might be a UK thing? The dealer installed mine and then sat in the car to set it up and ensure it was working properly before I left. I was warned by others on the forum before I collected the car that dealers don't always set it up, but to make sure they did before I left. I didn't need to prompt them though, it was an automatic process for them.

Looking at your location I guess you used Holdcroft Volvo at Stoke? A superb dealership,nothing is too much trouble to them and everyone is so professional in their service department.

If so, I'm not surprised that your set up was done so smoothly for you, the place always gives good customer service.

Before you ask, no, I don't work for them, just another satisfied customer!

I have now purchased 3 of these THREE Sims from Amazon - apart from being very cheap and giving you total flexibility, a key advantage is that there is absolutely ZERO set up - you just slot the Sim into the holder, place holder in car and it is auto recognised & you are instantly online. This removes the need to set up an account and link the Sim to your account with activation txts to the Sim that is already in the car, etc, etc, etc.

Definitively a UK thing, just checked the dealers price list, no sim card mentioned there.

Just made my way out of the XC90, after an evening visit in the luggage compartment

No sim card in the simholder, so I'm on the lookout for one as well.....
