Default Odd alarm problem

Just came back from a long (1,500 mile) holiday and the front and rear seat 12v sockets weren't working. Replaced the 15a fuse and the sockets now work, but now the car's alarm seems to set itself off at random times (five or ten minutes after I've locked it).

I've removed the only thing that's changed (the fuse) and it seems to be behaving itself again. But as the fuse is only for the sockets, why should it be setting the alarm off?

Thanks
Chris

Perhaps the question to ask is; what blew the fuse? Since the car has a multiplex wiring system that is where the confluence may lie.

I imagined it was my children and wife all trying to charge their phones via various adapters.

Unlkely be that, prob a max of 22w each phone and that's if the USB sockets are the fast chargers, unless one or more are el cheapo Chinese ones, could have a short I spose, poss someones stuck sommat in there having a play about? failing that, try each of the USB sockets and charge ya phone/tablet and see which is the culprit?
