Default Water leak rear roof area advice please.

Hi all,

I am trying to remove the plastic trim at the rear of the headlining to trace a water leak in the cargo area which drips down from the edges of this trim.

I would appreciate tips on how to remove it without breaking clips, etc

Thanks

Iain

With this panel and many other parts of the interior trim, I find the clips holding things are way too strong for the function they need to perform.

I found pulling the edge of the panel down slightly and looking in with a torch helps so you know exactly where the connectors are. Then using a curved trim tool on the connectors to lever them out (a bit like a claw hammer pulling a nail from timber)

That said, what you need most is courage to put more weight and power on the pull! At the end of the day if something is going to break, it's going to break. There is no foolproof way to do this.
