Ah no that's not Dec's car, he has a two tone 123GT with a black roof. DTB classics.

Tig welded in the repair. Would like to give it a wee bit more of a planish but struggling to hold the dolly.

Wasn’t supposed to be at the workshop today but Karen was having a sleep this afternoon so snuck out for a couple of hours and started making the closing panel. Will get it tacked in tomorrow and hopefully weld a new flange on the lower quarter panel. You can see from the old ones I didn’t have a lot to go by.

Tacked the closing panel in and welded on a new lower flange to the quarter panel. Wasn’t sure how that would go but think it will be okay with a bit more of a tidy up.

Hopefully will get time to finish fitting and get it all welded this weekend. Getting her media blasted and epoxy primed in a few weeks so will get a proper look at all the remaining areas.
