Default 2015 V40 Wing Mirror Replacement

So, after a slight argument with my gate I now have a drivers side door mirror with a crack in the black casing (surrounding the mirror glass near to the indicator lens). The mirror still works fine despite being bent backwards. It still adjusts and tilts, folds and the heating element appears to still work.

From what I’ve seen and with the help of a mate of mine it appears to be a full housing job to replace. Is this a door card off job? Does anyone have any advice/guidance on how to do this?

Also as mine is fitted with power folding mirrors and seat/mirror memory do I need to find a mirror that has the wiring for this or can I just strip my mirror of its components and drop it straight in?

Cheers
Dave
