Catalytic convertor theft protection

Hi all, I had my catalytic convertor stolen from my 1999 V70 T5 auto last night by 4 violent masked cowards. They tried to get at the cars on my drive but only succeded in getting the one on the road.

Has anyone else suffered the same fate and now have a guard or clamp in place over their cats. Looking for ideas as I'm sure the toe rags will return.

Stainless steel rope is meant to be very difficult to cut through.
