I know what you mean. I bought my 850R around May and I've also spent a small fortune - well over £1k actually and I still have a long list of items to be fixed. I bought it to replace my mint 2002 Golf V5 which was a bit small but great fun - I still have the Golf as I'm not prepared to 'give it away' at a silly price, so there are times when I think about selling the 850R instead and keeping the Golf... but then I drive the 850R and I have an immediate change of heart

If the rattles bangs creaks misfirings are still coming from the front of the car I would recommend you having the drop links checked.

Sorry I though you was joking about the misfire.

When where the spark plugs last changed?Try finds out what make of plugs have been fitted.

As you have a Turbo charge engine you need to make sure the plugs used are for the turbo engines.Use ether genuine Volvo plugs or Denso plugs.

no i wish i was joking lol
i have changed the plugs volvo ones
ht leads are new also air filter engine temp sensor and new thermostat
as old one was knackered i am hoping a new dizzy cap and rotor arm will do the trick
lately as i brake the revs have started dropping to about 500 rpm sounds like it is about to stall
