This is the intersting fix and flip car from the sales section. It was up for sale on car and classic for £750 at the start of this year ( or possibly last year ) it had the towbar removed and rear bumper painted since then

The advert is complete and utter bollox and the MOT history doesn't for one minute look like a car that's been meticulously maintained

The service history is incomplete, there should be a 600-1000 mile service, usually just an oil change and check-tightening of certain fasteners - this can have a huge effect on engine longevity though. Arguably one of the more important services as a result.

Could be a good/nice car but the surroundings it's pictured in suggest he runs a scrapyard or similar. Probably bought it cheap from someone who knew/thought it was going to cost a small fortune to keep on the road then found the history, gave it a wash and saw £ signs rolling round his eyeballs.
Well done for reading the whole lot, i almost lost the will to live, 100 words into the ad!!!...Yeah, looks like chicken farm/low scale scrap yard. Im not sure i would clean a car, then present it on a whole heap of mud like that, but each to their own.

Im pretty sure i saw that white 960 estate come up for sale on CarandClassic back when you said?? Was it the one with the matching colour roof box fitted. My heart said go buy that car(it was too cheap) but my head said dont do it!!!...I didnt think that car was the very same as this white one though??? so who knows.

Here’s the link to the original ad which is still there on Car and Classic and comes up slightly further down the page when you search for Volvo 960.

https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1304546

I too was seriously contemplating it when it first came up at £750. I’ve always promised myself a 960 one day.
