When I'm not about to go to sleep, I'll list out the parts you need to order.

And you can pretty much guarntee that your arms are the steel ones, the ally arms are rather rare in my opinion.

I've got £140 worth of rubbery plastic sat in front of me.

Uni have a press I can use to remove the old ones and fit them.

I was talking to some one today who said that if you dont get them in right the first time, they'll gum up and are only good for the bin. That made me apprehensive.

Did anyone do theirs themselves? The funny one in question is the figure 8 shaped one that has to pop through (no metal parts). He said that one was a bit of a bugger to get to go in.

Any tips or pictures? I've never done this before so I was thinking about making a jig to support the parts while I muller them.

I did all mine myself, using a press at a jag dealer to get the figure of 8 ones in. Other than that, it was just time, a thick long bolt, large washer and nut and some more time.

I would second chesh's comments. lose the rear ones and possible the pas and alternators one as I fail to see the difference they would make. Someone may be able to correct me on that though.

Yeah, I just went for the three important front suspension ones. The sway bar is totally shot but that can wait.

I tried doing the radius arm to sub frame bushing today.
Was it going to come out? no chance lol It had 3 tonnes on it, and it wasn't budging (thats as high as the machine will go).

I'm thinking about trying to get as much of the rust off as possible with a wire brush then soaking it in diesel.

Another question, about the radius arm to subframe bushing. Is it in two parts? I'm planning on pushing it from one side, and waiting for one to pop out then reverse it to get the other side. Or is it one piece and you just push it all the way.
