Default Information about 960's

Hi Ive just purchased a J reg (1992) 960 estate and would like to know where good sources of information can be found. I attempted to purchase a Haynes workshop manual for this car, but only found 740/60 in stock and the Haynes Web site does not list the 960. Thanks Tim

There is no Haynes for the 960. You may purchase the Chilton manual from Haynes (on-line mail order) but it is a little more sketchy as it deals with quite a few models. The number of the Chilton manual is C72302 and it will cost you £20 (IIRC post free). The 940 manual from Haynes covers a lot of the bits except for rear suspension on estates as that is mainly independant, at least on the later models. A[partb from that the only other osurce of information is the owners handbook and the Green Books (from Volvo), the latter being an expensive way of obtaining manuals.

All the best, Peter.
