Driving in Europe / Lights adapter help
Hi guys, I'm a newbie with hopefully a quick query.
I'm driving to Bruges in a couple of weeks and am looking at what I need to do to comply with the European rules about adapting my lights. I've purchased this item from Halfords ( https://www.halfords.com/motoring/tr...rs-151225.html ) but it doesn't appear to have the V90 (2017 model) as an option. All advice greatly appreciated. |

Have you checked out the manual that should be with you car, failing that you can download a PDF version of the manual from the Volvo web site. If you have an iPod or equivalent it is worth loading the pdf file onto the device so that you have an easily accessible copy.

If you gave LED lights do we even need those? I thought I’d read somewhere that the car knows and automatically adjusts the light when abroad……I’ve looked in the manual and can’t see anything about it.

Options to switch L to R via Sensus. Appears to depend if you have active bending / shadow feature. My previous V90 (2017) didn’t and it appeared the beam from the LED’s was flat and wasn’t an issue when driving in France. I remember the dealer at the time didn’t have a clue and the manual was vague. No issue for MY21 V90 model
