Default Brand New V60

I took delivery of my V60 D3 R Design yesterday morning and I love the car.

This morning however on the school run I played audio via bluetooth for the first time, the connection was stuttering cutting in & out almost continuously. I then called my wife to see if she could hear me, and whilst she heard me perfectly fine her voice was also stuttering through the speakers.

Oddly though after I got back into the vehicle after dropping off my son the music played through without a problem, nice & clear no breaks in sound, just perfect.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be? I have emailed the dealer as I want it to be known the issue was there within 24 hours in case this problem returns in the future.

Is your phone running android jelly bean?

The much older android eclair does not seem to have this issue, but it only supports basic streaming with no AVRCP 1.3.

What phone are you using?

Have you tried a different phone?

Hi Folks, Problem hadn't returned until this morning. I was hoping it had gone for good

I am using iPhone 5 running latest iOS 6.1

I haven't tried a different phone, mainly because the issue is so random (twice in a week)

For music use the udb connector. Saves battery life and chsrges too.

Thanks for the advice but I need to use the bluetooth function on my phone rather than run a USB cable into the centre console. Also the issue happens (occasionally) during a phone call too so will be of no help to me!

I can't answer the query with a positive response other than to say I have the bluetooth connection and my phone works perfectly with it. It is an old phone, my kids are embarrassed by it, but the connection to the car and clarity of the system works very well. No smugness here, it is just to let you know that it can and should work perfectly.

Bang an email to Volvo UK and see if there is an issue with the new iphone. If not then throw it at the dealers, maybe a blip in the car software that they can resolve.

There have been quite a few posts in the past about problems with iphones, search the forum and you should find them.
