Volvo V90 long term reliability
Currently have a Japanese import V50 2.4 petrol which has been great for the couple of years I've had it so far. Planning on keeping it as long as possible as it's only done 60k miles, but I always like to to keep on eye on what I might get in future.
Anyway, I like estates (no matter what the missus thinks) and the V90 looks a pretty impressive modern example of one. The main thing I'd be concerned about with the V90 is a lot of the controls and functions are operated via a digital screen. Not sure how this holds up over time. Also the 2.0L petrol engines are 4 cylinder and there's more reliance on a turbo rather than being 5 cylinder. I'd be looking to import from Japan again from the same Volvo dealership over there that I got my V50 from. I've noticed they have diesels over in Japan now, it used to be all petrol. So I guess there would be an option between petrol and diesel.
