vida should say what the signal strength range is .. as 139 means nothing without units

daft suggestion...

I have had a similar problem - but I have not removed the bumper.

I eventually realised that the Iphone and cigarette lighter /usb adapter was creating the interference (this only happened because the previous usb/cigarette lighter adapter failed).

Once unplugged the reception improved - might be worth making sure you don't have anything plugged in the 12v sockets.

I could be wrong but i am fairly sure it only stated 139, there was a little fluctuation, +/- 1, it was mostly around 139. I didnt see any range but before i turned on the radio it was in the 40's i think it was. I just found the part that showed the signal, spose ya gonna say i had to click on more detail

Thanks, i keep on forgetting to try this, i have a multi 12v connector, at least a 3 port involved, its running my wireless phone holder/charger, CarEye black box, old one, prob about 2008, was a maplin job originally at £300 lol, and theres a jump pack on permanent charge, i will pull it out and see what happens, it should show instantly so i dont know why i forget to do it, thanks.

I tested the idea and it looks like the multi socket is causing a certain amount of interference, but not a lot, not enough to make the dolby pro logic work, rear speakers are really quiet. it is under the carport mind, but i get kiss fm and radio 2 working great, but not Heart Norfolk, thats the issue station.

I will check with Vida/Dice again when i get chance....
