Default For sale soon. S60 T5 2.4 SE 2007

Any ideas of price for selling my car? I'm thinking sub £2k?

2007, 07, Facelift S60 2.4 T5 SE Geartronic, sunroof

165,000 ish miles mostly B road @ 50mph cruise since I've owned in 2018.

MOT SEPT 2020.

No major mods (slight window tints, GROM bluetooth module)

Heated seats, drivers electric seat, aluminium on black trim not the pikey cream dash!

RTI Volvo Sat Nav with 2015 maps.

Auto Wipers, DSTC, Dolby Pro Logic II

Has S60R Nordkap Blue Leather Interior (except the armrest)
Will chuck in the Nordkap carpets as well which haven't fitted

Oil always done every 6 to 8 months as soon as turns colour.

Gearbox Flushed regularly with Millermatic SPIII to nice cherry red.

Shemtek remap - 18psi boost, pulls well but needs a bigger exhaust to increase the power - dynoed at 270hp / 380nm on bone stock car.

FAULTS:

1.Heater motor occasional squeak in cold weather.
2.Alarm module battery failed so has been removed.
3.Gearbox runs perfect under daily drive and also full power BUT will bang inbetween 3rd and 4th if you have hot gearbox oil and SUSTAINED acceleration.
4.Paint generally good except one wing has a shoddily touched up rust patch by previous owner.
5. Cruise control not working with the remap, I can flash it to stock and you will have fully working cruise (Shem is a penis)
6. Fuel flap locks but doesn't unlock - so I've unplugged it.

There sounds to be some sort of gearbox issue, which could be costly to repair, as its not dirty transmission fluid because you've changed it.

However, you've done lots to the car, so there's less for a potential purchaser to worry about & T5's are pretty rare. Maybe you should find out what that transmission issue is & get an estimate as to how much it'll cost to repair or for the previous owner to? If its costly, I think your chances of getting £2k would be dwindling.

Nothing you can do. Valve pack would be around 400, clutch pack Inc labour would be more than the car worth (around 1700 hope to get)

I think that you'd be bid very hard on it because of the 'box risk, whether actual or perceived Barry.
