Maintenance Reset Woes
I have a 2011 V70 Mk3 D5 Estate and have just completed a first service since acquiring it.
I cannot find a way to cancel the "Maintenance overdue" message. The method in the manual doesn't work and none of the many u-tube and other internet advice has not worked. I have an Autel Diaglink Scan Tool with upto date Volvo software installed and that has also failed to achieve reset. The Diaglink should do the job. Has anyone had experience with this tool please. |

The thing I remember most is that the separate steps (insert key, push odometer reset button before or after turning the key to position II, releasing the button after the flashing warning starts) are all surprisingly close together.
While it seems simple enough (do this within 4 seconds of that etc.) actually doing it correctly takes practice. I suggest trying it again. The simple reset steps on all 3 of my V70's ('99, '02 and '07) required several attempts. And believe me, when the time comes 'round again you won't remember it. You'll get it. |
