Car jerks when releasing the gas pedal
Hello,
On my S60 (2001, 250k km), when I release the gas pedal when driving, the car will 'shock' or jerk, as if I pressed the brake. If I release it very gently, then it will not happen. It will basically only do this when I 'suddenly' release it. On another s60, I can even have the pedal shoot back and nothing will happen, so this is definitely not "intended" behaviour. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? My cruise control is also not working, could this have something to do with this issue? |

I'd look to perished engine mounts.
If you find one worn, torn, crushed-down you'll likely be better off replacing all three. |
