Default V70 2002 P2 SRS wiring diagram needed pls

Hi

I swapped my seat squab earlier this year and it threw up an SRS fault light because I discoonected too quickly and didn't disconnect the battery ;-(

I'd ignored it as I thought it was just a reset needed. Now the MOT is due (TOMORROW), Outnumbered kindly tried to reset it via DICE and it won't throwing up an SRS 0044 perm error.

I don't know which vehicle the new squab came from apart from it being an S60. I now have all the colours of all the cables so I'd like to find a diagram which identifies the colours to so I can hopefully match them up and get mobile again.

Has anyone a cct diagram of the seat connections for a P2 V70 they can send me please?

If the link Brendan has provided doesn't work out, this may be of use.

Many thanks chaps.

Have finally found, through your help, which is which. Checked it through and unfortunately it's connected properly.

I'm now about to try a 2ohm test resistor to try to clear the code i.e. to see if its the wiring or bag ;-(

Now dropped that to a 1.5 ohm and still the same 0042.

I've disconnected the battery for 30 mins too but thats not impacted anything. I'm beginning to suspect a defective SRS module ;-(

Would have thought a module fail would bring up a 0101 or something like that. Both codes you have refer to the front right bag. The BSR PPC site has a detailed listing of alternative interpretations of the various codes. Can't seem to find it atm. Alternatively maybe someone with VIDA could chip in with the alternative meanings for both those codes.

Found it.

Both those codes seem to implicate the SIPS bag as well. Might be worth looking at the front bag as well as under the seat.

Ahhh, progress of sorts. As I've cut the plug off, as you do, I'm now assuming it's a capacitance alarm that's being generated. I could solder the wires back together and plug my resistor into the socket or...

Does anyone know what the capacitance is and whether its wired in series or parallel? I'm assuming that CanBus must be an AC signal to require a capacitor. Does anyone know for certain?
