That should liven things up a wee bit!

How about some balloons tied to the hearse and maybe some cans tied to teh back with a Just Died sticker

Song choices I like. I can just see it as the coffin is rolled away " Your going to burn burn burn"

I have been to too many funerals now. I think the modern idea of celebrating rather than being all sad about is a much idea. Telling those funny stories about the person who's life has ended so you can laugh while being sad. I find the traditional welsh funerals depressing and pretty unbearable.

Something i've learned as i've got older is that the older you get, the more funerals you get to attend!
With that comes an ever-increasing sense of mortality.

I've come to the conclusion that if there is a God or other "Supreme Being" he/she/they are a sadistic article. As you get older you are tortured by your friends popping their clogs and reminding you that some time soon, "You're next!" and just to add injury to insult, various signs of decay appear in/on your body, hair and teeth fall out, bones get stiff and creaky etc.

If a Supreme Being is responsible for that, then sadistic is definitely a good description!

Mine would have a field day in that! Already sits like Lady Muck in the passenger seat watching what's going on!

I draw the line at letting her in the drivers seat though - no licence!

We should start a separate thread for funeral music:

Mines are:

Neil Young - Southern Pacific;
Chris Rea - Daytona; and
The Byrds - 242 Foxtrot.

Representing my main interests - the Southern Pacific Railroad, cars, and aeroplanes (N242FT was a LearJet).

Weren't the factory supplied stretched limos (and hearses) converted by NIllson in Sweden before being sold as "genuine" Volvo models?
