Cheers.
I'll say what everyone else says it just makes it a little more responsive and it just pulls through the revs ! Yes you can get it done cheaper elsewhere but not sure if the other software upgrades optimise the difference in gear changes , if you can afford it go for it !
Like I said you can get it put on for a 2 week trial and if you don't want it they will charge you £25 for the trial and remove it !
I only had it done as it was in for the aux belt / tensioner recall at least that was free !!!

Just had my xc60 16plate d4 se luv nav auto fwd polestar’d - definitely better tbh they all should be like this out of the factory 👍😎 I have the 4c also and it is a pleasure to push-on on the a/b roads now (I have a 250bhp caterham 7 also so I do know what handling and speed is...😂👍😱&#128540 I had the new style xc60 r design out for the day and whilst it was better inside and smoother ride..ish,it didn’t have the push mine did (though I do believe you could get the polestar & 4c on these as well) not quite in such a rush to get the newer model now 😂👍 if anyone is umming and arghing my advice is go for it...so much better 👍

Had mine done in June, with a decent discount, but not quite as decent as 200 quid cheaper! No worries though, I'm loving the extra midrange shove.

I am toying with the idea: did it make any difference to your insurance?

Must admit, the model selector indicates less than 10% difference in all power outputs, and almost identical 0-60 - not madly convincing, even for a "bargain" £635....)
Suggests economy remains the same (a madly optimistic theoretical 60.1mpg!!) - what did you find?
FYI, I do NOT have the 4c option....I do have the DSP

Any other owners of an XC60 D4 181bhp auto who went for polestar got any thoughts?

Has anyone Polestar'd a manual gearbox car? As many of the benefits seem to be linked to the behaviour of the auto boxes, it would seem there is more value there.

Mike, defo worth it
Check your insurance though, only a problem if you have any under 25's on the policy - Direct Line were hopeless Wouldnt insure my lad for the 200hp Volvo but already insured him for his own BMW with 231hp, and they also happy he now drives (sometimes!) an RS6 with 572 hp, exactly, that's why best to check before or just find an insurer that knows what they are doing!
