Default 1800S water pump

Hi
Can the water pump from a 1969 1800S be stripped down for cleaning, inspection and/or renovation?
Thanks
Simon

Hiya Simon,
There aren't any serviceable parts inside the water pump. If it's leaking or noisy then it' fit a new one.
It's a fiddly job to fit, so if it's not causing a problem leave it alone.
I think most owners would agree.
