Default volvoguard Alarm on '92 940S est

Hi to all, Just joined the VOC and this is my first post. I have the aforementioned 940 and it has the volvo alarm but I don't have a fob, I have the key to switch it on and off. But when I switch it on it goes off, as it should. Being tightfisted I don't want to splash out on a fob thats maybe useless if the alarm is U/S. its got a couple wires snipped, so my questions are....?
Does anybody have an old fob, without batteries that I can fix up to see if I can make the alarm work please, will pay postage, and the next can anybody assist with a copy of the wiring diagram so that I can trace the snipped wires, please ?

Status panel lives on the drivers windscreen pillar (RH A-frame) about halfway up from the dash. You can download a copy of the manual for VolvoGuard from the following site

All the best, Peter.

many thanks Peter, I had already combed through the archives and found the manual. Seems like one of the previous owners has removed the status panel, may also explain why some wires severed at siren alarm unit in the engine bay. Guess I'll have to rely on my old standby Krooklock and consider getting another Jack Russell terrier ( the sound of rabid barking accompanied by teeth clattering off glass put off many a toerag I can tell you ) for security purposes.
thanks again.
