V70 7 seater d5 preferred

Hi there,

I'm after a 7 seater v70 after the 06 185 bhp version had to be returned (oil consumption, soot filter, white smoke after idle). https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=310179

I have contributed to overpopulation with my 4 kids, so 7 seats are required. Happy to entertain engine or transmission variants, though I do prefer a manual diesel.

Good 7 seater seem to be harder to come by these days.

Top of the budget is £2,500.

Thanks Barry, I did spot it and it looks a top motor, however it's only 5 seats.

I'm in talks with forum member who's bringing a manual, 7 seater, 185bhp, d5 back to life. Looks a treat, and will have all the belts, swirlflaps, brakes etc done...

Don't be forced into buying a 7 seater that isn't exactly what you're after....get a 2nd hand back seat kit and turn your 5 seater into a seven seater! You'll often see them for sale or..... an older XC90 comes exactly to order.....

Thanks nobby, I took your advice and snatched the "stunning" 185 d5 that was in the sales section. 24 hrs and 300 miles in, I'm very pleased.
