Pre-'66 Rear Axle
I have a pre-'66 saloon rear axle which has been sitting in my barn for yonks, useless to me as it doesn't fit my later type suspension
I think it came off a D-reg (from memory) 122S scrapper which had overdrive, so it could be a 4.56:1. Anyone able to tell me how I can find out if it is a 4.1:1 or a 4.56:1? Condition unknown as I've never driven with it Is it worth something to someone? Otherwise it's going in a gert big truck with all my dad's disused farming junk destined for the scrap yard while the value of scrap is so high. Anyone want a combine? Or a milking parlour? Collection from Tiverton, Devon

There might be a tab under one of the bolts with a number on it.
Any drums on it for Quarterless? |

Yeah! It's still sitting there, still with my hub remover on it trying to get the very tight drum off..
I tried to PM you, but can't. You must be new to the forum. You could email me adamtwose@googlemail.com

Not sure when I'm next heading that way, but if it's any help, I may be able to get this axle back to London.
