Default Volvo 740 16v £2495 ono

Pictures are here;

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204220816...mis&media=COPY

For sale is my rare 1990 Volvo 740 GLT estate
12 months mot
B234f 16valve
M46 manual (4 + working over drive
150k ish miles (clocks have been changed but mot history and service history indicate this mileage)
Black leather with heated front seats and electric drivers in lovely condition.
Electric glass sunroof with tilt and slide that still works.
Headlining recently retrimmed.
Heated electric mirrors.
Genuine volvo Snow trays
New heater matrix, water pump, thermostat, heater control valve and coolant hoses.
Rear end changed from Nivomats to standard with Bilstein B4s
New clutch master and slave cylinder.
Recent service including plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm, oil and filter.
New inlet and exhaust manifold gaskets.
New rear light clusters, new front indicator/side light clusters.
Fuel gauge intermittent - sometimes accuracy and sometimes not. I tend to just work off the odometer which works fine.
Odo and speedo work fine as does the temp gauge etc.

Stacks of service history and receipts including service books etc

The car had been a salvage repair (economical repair). This turned out to be a parking bump which resulted in a new bonnet and wings, even though there was very damage.
Paperwork included to back this up including correspondence with insurance company etc.

All in all a very cool rwd retro volvo that qualifies for classic car insurance. I’d love to lower it and change the wheels but having to sell as trimming down the volvo fleet.

Car is located in Selby, North Yorkshire.

Hi Selby,
Apologies, can I ask where you bought heater control valve? Mine's stopped working and I can only find LHD versions for sale...
Many thanks,
Adrian

It looks great in the photos. I’m looking out for a decent estate.
The recent MOT fail refers to multiple corroded suspension mounts, how did you address that to get a passed test?

Yeah, cost me £300 but it’s all done. It’s a genuine test, not an hooky one!

Didn’t mean to suggest it was. I’m trying to find time to educate myself on the various models to understand what I should go for, weekend away with family is demanding my time.
