hi there guys
i also have a 2002 gdi ...having a lot of problems with it too. it was sat for a while and now i have engine light constantly on. Hates cranking first thing in the morning. Any suggestions for that. had a service and runs on v power also some redex type stuff. its been ok other than the early start up problems . The other problem is that whilst driving the engine management makes the car drive no more than 3000 revs. its ok whilst on motorway. but if it goes under 3000 its sometimes kicks in. |

That is why I simply hate GDIs. It could be the throttle body, high pressure fuel pump, or fuel pressure sensor. Ideally you need your codes read

Could that explain the difficult morning start? |
