Constant tone on reversing sensors! 02 s60 D5
So one day I got in the car, went to reverse and... SCREAMING!! As if I was about to hit something. Did all the usual checks for dirt etc, but it has been this way for the last couple of months now and its getting annoying. It is now a constant tone when going into reverse.
Has anyone had this issue? |

Our 2005 V70 does this but only about half the time. I've never been able to work out why.

At least one faulty sensor I would think.
There is a box in behind the panels in the boot somewhere with a switch on it that you can turn off. |

Agreed, most likely a faulty sensor or harness. Mine started doing this but I had a harness and sensors from a car that someone wrote off. I just swapped out the lot and the problem went away.
