Default V50 windscreen replacement

Hi everyone,
Iv owned my V50 2.4 D5 now for about 4 months and its been great, but recently with all this bad weather iv noticed a leak coming from under the dash dripping down by where you pull the lever for the bonnet and
the A pillar and just above on the lower roof lining has been wet.

Iv no sunroof so i knew it wasnt the drainage blocked.
I took the A pillar off and noticed some small droplets seemingly coming from behind the windscreen.

So today i had my windscreen replaced as it had chips in it as well so hoping to kill two birds with one stone with getting the new seal and all that.

Once finished the windscreen operative asked whether iv had any leaks as it had no sealant along the top, and he has seen a few volvos like this.
This was still an original volvo screen so i presume it was still the original.

Have any of you guys come across this before?

I'm having water ingress issues with my V50, just posted yesterday. Mine's a 2010 60 reg. What age is yours? Just ciurious to know whether it was cars of a certain age that were affected. I haven't had mine checked yet, but I am intending to as soon as possible.
