Yup, put the SIM in the phone, and then start the registration process at:
https://www.three.co.uk/My3Account/My3/Register Make sure you handle the SIM gently, as you have may have to pop out the Microsim to use in the phone, and then put it back in, for use in the car.

Been on three and they say that the card is activate.
So I'll try it in the car tomorrow (when it arrives) and go from there.

My problem was that I needed to register the SIM. I put the SIM into another device which allowed connection to the EE registration portal. Once registered, I returned the SIM to the car and all worked fine.
It's a pity that the car doesn't allow access to the registration portal via a wifi connected device in the same way that mifi dongles do. |
