Default S80 '09 2.0 diesel. Poor handling and tyre wear

I have a 2009 S80. I'm finding the handling in the rear of the car to be poor. Recently I broke a rear spring when the spring got broken, I noticed the inside of both rear tyres was badly worn ( I don't think the spring caused the wear, they were replaced in a couple of days). At that time I replaced both rear springs and tyres and got the wheel alignment done. The shocks appear to be good. Now when I drive the car it does not feel sure footed in the rear on bends. It feels like the car slips a little before it grips the road. I think now that this is the reason why the previous set of tyres were worn. Is there something else I should be checking? Any advice welcome, thanks.
