Question Tachometer/Rev Counter Boffin Needed

Hi All

Problem: I have a tacho that is for a 6 cylinder motor but I need it for a 4 cylinder motor. Its NOT an option to change the tacho unit unless someone can help me out with a swop. Its the pre R-Sport Tacho in the 164 GT Guage cluster unit(overdrive light is included in cluster unlike 140 GT Cluster).

I'm told there is some sort of regulation/booster unit that is wired into the circuitry of the cluster that'll solve the problem. Can anyone help me out with info on this or perhaps suggest a different a solution?

Dylan

Try this guy in Florida, RP242T@aol.com, he sells on ebay and reconditions these dash panels and circuit boards, supplied mine and it was superb.
