Default C 70 Convertable

Hi All.
First post and I have to say lots of useful info. Just had my 2004 C 70 serviced and the dealers say I need new discs front and rear and also new pads. The Model is a 2.4 C70 T Gt. I am trying to get some prices online but there seems to be several wheel sizes. Mine has the original wheels and I changed the P6000 for Continental F1's 225/45/17. Perhaps this will give omebody a clue re wheel size. The dealer quoted me £600 for the job. Any help on where to get parts, or an independent Volvo here in the Manchester area would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Pat

You have 17" wheels.

225 is the width of the tyre, 45 is the profile of the tyre, 17 indicates the wheel size.

For parts, try here..... http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...t.php?cPath=52

IIRC the 45 is the profile expressed as a percentage of the width.
