Unhappy Kick down cable

Hi,

I have a 1975 164e auto, I need a kick down cable because the one I have on the car is up to its maximum adjustment apparently, I cant find anyone to supply one so far, can anyone help. I think the auto box is a Borg Warner 35??. Does anyone know if the one I have on the car could be 'modified' in any way to give more adjustment, or if one from another car will fit. I live in Canada but if anyone has one I would like to buy one, especially if its new.

Many thanks,

Mark

Default Kick down cable, 164e

Thanks for that, they do indeed sell them for about 85 euros, not easy to pay them, they need a wire transfer, but fingers crossed that will be sorted before the week is out. If I get the UV joints on the prop shaft sorted to stop the vibrations at 60mph, it should be running sweeter than ever. Im beginning to realise parts for the FI system, the old D Jet, are getting harder to find, keeping this 164e rolling is going to be more and more challenging, but I like the old girl, and its a daily driver too.

Thanks again,

Mark
