Default 240 Turbo

Looking for a 240 saloon (not estate) with completed 2.3 Turbo conversion.

MUST BE:
- sound well carried out conversion as this will be my daily driver
- later 13mm rod engine
- not a beaten up track / drift car at end of life
- 5 speed box

I am looking for a ready completed conversion as i dont have an awful lot of time on my hands due to other commitments.

Any help in finding a good car will be much appreciated.

Regards

Simon.

The amount of 240 turbos in this country are minimal, I only know of a handful and I've been looking for quite a while! I doubt you'll find a decent one any time soon but good luck!

Thanks,

Its frustrating because i am more than capable of carrying out the conversion as i have a couple of engine transplants under my belt. Its just the time i dont have.

I think this may be one of those unicorn moments. You'd be best taking the tiem to make your own and have it how you want. From my previous experience an engine conversion is never truly done how you want it and you always end up changing things.

Unfortunately time is the main problem

Antz -

Agreed, as life goes on spare time seems to become more scarce. Im currently refurbing a house so cars are not on priority list. Bored of my Audi A3 tho & want to get back into something more interesting. Needs some poke though !

I knew that copy of retro cars was a bad idea !

If you don't have the time to do an engine swap, a flat-front 740 turbo could be a nice compromise - still pretty retro.
